Weight Loss Without Dieting

Are you tired of the diet cycle? I want to change the conversation around weight loss, the story we have been sold about dieting, and open up your options when it comes to changing your body.


Many of my clients felt this way before I met them, and my heart breaks for the needless stress and life disruptions they were experiencing each time they tried to change their bodies through dieting. I want to help you escape this cycle! Through joining me and our Marcy Luna Fitness community, you’ll form new habits and new ways of thinking about your health, resulting in a better-feeling body. Weight loss becomes the side effect, not the tool to judge your worth.


After over 25 years of studying exercise physiology, nutrition, and psychology, and working with thousands of people to better their health and quality of life, I have created a FREE 5-day ReEnergize! Challenge. The challenge is to implement habits that improve your physiology, manage your stress, and feel better while having more FUN!


Dieting is hard and it invites us to be hard on ourselves, creating more pressure and stress, Chronic stress affects your appetite-regulating hormones and impacts your sleep. If you want to lose weight without dieting, you have to focus on habits that manage your stress response and improve the way you feel. To lose weight without dieting, you have to do a different kind of work. It requires the decision to show up for yourself because you are worth it! To lose weight without dieting you have to practice choosing how you want to feel instead of fighting what you can or can't eat, and you have to begin to heal your relationship with food. When you drop the judgment and ask the question, “How do I want to feel after I eat?” you create a new lens to look through as you make food choices.


You can change your physiology and change your life with no dieting necessary! My FREE 5-Day Challenge is the framework I use to keep myself and my clients on track. Each of these components is involved in improving how you feel so you can decide what you really want. It all starts on August 15th alongside others embarking on this journey so we can celebrate our achievements and overcome struggles as a team while we learn and have some fun!


Who is a Good Candidate for the 5-day ReEnergize! Challenge?


Anyone can participate in the 5-day ReEnergize! Challenge. All of the practices that we implement are based on data and studies that show how we can better transform our biochemistry and physiology to change our lives and bodies for the better.


Instead of focusing on dieting and calories, we learn about how our bodies use energy and what causes our bodies to store fat. For example, science shows us that not getting enough sleep and having chronic stress cause our bodies to store fat, especially around the belly. So instead of working out to target these areas or trying to decrease our calorie intake without addressing the root issue, our bodies experiencing chronically high cortisol levels will continue storing fat. Stress isn’t going away, but you can learn to minimize the impact and reduce the burden as we “unstack” your stress!


Thus, we need to work on ourselves from the inside out. We will be flipping the script and focusing not on dieting and deprivation, but instead turning our focus to what elevates how we physically feel. We will build habits that give us the foundation for more easily maintaining a healthy, happy life, and the side effect is getting into a body we love.


I have been teaching the elements of this for years and I want to share it with people! My mission is to change the conversation about weight loss. In order to change the conversation, we have to have a conversation, so I decided to do this for free. I do have a 6-week, deeper dive program, ReEnergize! Your Body, starting after the challenge for anyone who would like to keep going.


So What Exactly Will We Be Doing During the 5-day ReEnergize! Challenge?


Instead of waiting until the end of a diet to feel good, I want you to start feeling good NOW!


We will begin the 5-day ReEnergize! Challenge by stacking habits that can generate more energy and get on the path to a more balanced biochemistry. We will learn about how to exercise for purposes beyond focusing on calories and weight loss itself. We’ll also try some activities to give you an experience with them and see if they work for you, such as meditation and simple intermittent fasting. Everything we do focuses on feeling betteer and enjoying your day more, NOT depravation, doing it right, or being critical. This is where my teaching and coaching comes in. I will teach you some of the science behind these tools, coach you on your perspective, have some fun and pave the way for a new, healthier experience.


The challenge does take work, but this work leads to something better, something that can be energizing and fun, and end the diet cycle for you. You will have a framework to work with, one to come back to when you ned it. Deprivation and dieting are not part of the equation. With the challenge being free and only 5 days, what's possible?
